First stage
MR 22 with SCS (Spherical Core Seal) Ruby system. The conventional high-pressure valve is replaced by an exclusive Mares patent; a precious ruby. The ruby is perfectly smooth, shiny and corrosion resistant; it cannot be etched by oils or grease and suffers no wear. A ruby is eternal. The seat connector, manufactured with a special high-tenacity technopolymer, translates into water-tightness; its life cycle is much longer than that of traditional valves and doesn't require special maintenance.
For all divers, Ruby is forever.

Second stage
Upgrades of the most advanced MARES second stage include: the front shield in stainless steel protects the regulator, whereas the wide thick-mesh grid breaks the water flow and prevents free flowing of air even when swimming in strong currents. Its exclusive design, featuring eight profile screws anchoring the shield to the special technopolymer cap, highlights Ruby's exquisite design and performance characteristics.
